The Land Agrees

A walk with my husband eeked out his trauma. Overcome by an uncertainty to ride his own waves of emotion without drowning, we ask for help. A rattlesnake hisses at our dog, but no bite. A bird of prey flys from above. As I speak the lessons - of warning but no harm if taken through sight from above - a hummingbird sings. The land agrees, it can be done.
